![]() In creating a 64 bit operating system, Microsoft decided to drop support for running 16 bit programs. Shell.dll was where the 16 bit versions of the Windows common shell components were located in more modern systems they are stored in shell32.dll, either in %windir%\system32 (64 bit) or %windir%\syswow64 (32 bit). You may be able to use a program like Resource Extract ( ) to pull the fonts out of it. ![]() Would it be worth getting my windows 95 machine out from storage and trying that? Or does anyone know where the installation prog is looking for shell.dll? Is the font really embedded in the binary? It says it can't find shell.dll which I do appear to have in a couple of folders. However I can't get it to work which is bugging me. The reason for this is I would then have a legitimate version of Mylius font. Have found this old program on my old hard drive and was trying to get it to work on my XP machine.
